On co-term licensing the MX edition is uniform across the organization — you cannot run some appliances on Enterprise and others on Advanced Security.
An Enterprise organization cannot mix editions at all. An Advanced Security organization can add Per-Device SD-WAN Plus licenses to upgrade specific networks without converting everything.

Secure SD-WAN Plus is licensed by appliance SIZE (XS–XL), not by model.
